How to create a QR code for Google reviews

Step 1: Get your Google review link

Your review link is a short URL that opens the "write a review" box for your business. You can only get it from the Google account that manages your Business Profile.

1. Search your business name on Google while signed in to the account that owns the profile, or open business.google.com.
2. In the panel that manages your profile, click "Ask for reviews" (on some accounts it is under "Read reviews" → "Get more reviews").
3. Google shows a link that looks like https://g.page/r/…/review. Click "Copy link".

Step 2: Generate the QR code

1. Paste the review link into the generator above.
2. Type your business name and a short call to action, like "Loved it? Leave us a review".
3. Pick a light or dark sticker style, then download the 1200×1200 px PNG.

Step 3: Print it and put it where people wait

The download is print-ready at 4 inches and 300 DPI. Print it as a table tent, a round sticker for the counter or the bill folder, or a poster by the door.

Put it where customers have a free minute: on the table while they wait for the bill, next to the card terminal, or on takeaway bags. Always scan a printed copy with your own phone before printing more.

Do not have access to your Business Profile?

Only an owner or manager of the profile can copy the official review link. If someone else set it up, ask them to add you as a manager in Business Profile settings. If the business is not on Google yet, create the profile at business.google.com first — it is free.

Tips to get more Google reviews

Ask in person at the happy moment — when the food lands or the customer says thanks — and point to the QR. A request plus a code in front of them works far better than either alone.

Reply to every review, good or bad. Google shows replies to new visitors, and businesses that reply tend to get more reviews.

Do not offer discounts or gifts in exchange for reviews. Google’s rules forbid incentivised reviews and can remove them.
